Established in the Flevopolder from the original Van Tilburg farm, with its roots in arable farming, De Kubbe has been a well-known name in the field of storage and transshipment, weighing, cutting, washing and treatment of seed potatoes for more than 25 years. Renowned trading companies, fries producers and growers have trusted in the expertise of De Kubbe for many years by now. Regular customers include Aviko Potato, LWM, McCain, Farmfrites, handelsbedrijf APF, Hzpc, Agrico and Kws, as well as many local growers.
Each year, the company cuts 6000 – 10,000 tons of potatoes, while 13,000 – 18,000 tons of seed potatoes pass through the washing line. The company, which developed from the arable farm of the Van Tilburg family in 1991, is managed by Dick van Tilburg.
De Kubbe is known nationally and internationally for its innovative approach to working with seed potatoes, and has developed various successful methods for safe washing, treatment and cutting of seed potatoes. The resultant product is soil-free, for safe delivery all over the world. Hygiene is top of the priority list at De Kubbe. Only certified seed potatoes are accepted, for example, and the highest possible hygiene standards are applied.
De Kubbe has its own software system for management and registration of its activities. This makes it possible to keep customers updated on stocks and processes via e-mail, on a daily basis. In brief De Kubbe offers companies fully automated stock control information.
